I began leading Zen practice through Mondo Zen Facilitation and community zazen in 2018, ordained in 2019 as Umi no Nami, and was recognized as a dharma teacher in June of 2024.

In protest of the Hollow Bones Zen leadership, I removed myself from the organization in November of 2024.

In January of 2026, after much painful deliberation, I determined that Zen was no longer an adequate vehicle for my spiritual life or teachings.
